The Musician’s Path
Performance Excellence Mentorship
You can practice for months and still walk on stage unsure you will perform at your best. Many advanced musicians experience a painful gap between their preparation and their results.
Under pressure, things tighten: focus wavers, musical decisions become hesitant, and expression narrows even when the work has been done.
The Musician's Path: Performance Excellence Program is designed for musicians who already train at a high level, and want their performances to consistently show the depth, clarity, and artistry they have worked so hard to build. Rather than adding more repertoire or technique, this mentorship focuses on what determines how you perform when it counts: how you focus, how you communicate musically under pressure, how you make decisions on stage, and how you stay connected to your artistry in demanding situations.
The result is better performances, as well as reliable, grounded, expressive performing, even when the stakes are high.
The Musician’s Path is intentionally small and selective, allowing for deep, precise, professional-level work with each participant.
Weekly Individual Performance Mentorship
Each participant receives a personalized 60-minute weekly session focused on one thing:
how to perform when it matters.
Targeted, strategic conversations and experiments about how to bring your best onto the stage.
Together we work on:
* Staying mentally present instead of tightening or overthinking
* Making clear musical decisions under pressure
* Building performance routines that create consistency instead of anxiety
Three performance benchmarks that make change stick.
Insight alone does not change performance. Change only becomes real when it is tested.
That’s why the mentorship includes 3 structured performance benchmarks across the 12-week cycle. These are designed experiences that simulate the conditions musicians face when it truly counts.
Foundations Performance
We establish clarity, and focus so you understand how your performance system actually works.
Pressure Performance
We introduce evaluative conditions and stress so you can learn to use stress in your favor.
Integration Performance
We consolidate your tools, presence, and artistic reliability into a grounded, confident performance state.
These benchmarks anchor the entire process.
They turn new skills into something your nervous system trusts. Not just something you understand.
Ongoing email support between sessions
Including preparation planning, reflection tools, and guidance to help changes actually integrate.

Hi, I'm Shimrit, a concert pianist, soprano, and performance mentor.
For over two decades, I have worked with advanced musicians preparing for auditions, competitions, and professional performance careers in Israel and the United States. My students include pre-college & college musicians, pre-professionals and music teachers who want their performances to reliably reflect their high level.
I work with musicians on how they perform when it matters. How they think, breathe, decide, listen, and communicate under real performance conditions. My approach integrates deep musical understanding with practical performance psychology and structured preparation methods, helping musicians build calm focus, expressive clarity, and consistency on stage.
This mentorship is the distilled version of the work I have done for years with musicians who needed their performances to become more grounded, expressive and trustworthy.
"Shimrit.. touches on issues that are at the heart of every performing musician: effective practice and techniques for improving coping mechanisms in stressful situations, such as those encountered during concerts and auditions."
Ron Regev,
Head of piano department
Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance
"Shimrit shed light and provided tools for so many issues that pianists like us deal with on a daily basis, both in practice and on stage. I personally find myself recalling her advice every day and am grateful for the opportunity to have heard and learned from her experience."
Eden, Undergraduate Pianist
"Shimrit guides a process in which the music grows from within, through breath, mutual listening, and trust ... Since working with her, the way I practice and prepare has changed: less struggle, more calm precision; less pressure, more connection... I learned to create music that is deeper, freer, and more authentic.”
Nilli, Flutist
Investment
The Musician’s Path is a 12-week, individualized performance mentorship.
Investment: $1,150 per month for three months.
This includes ten individual sessions, three performance benchmarks, and between-session email support.
Because of the depth and personal nature of the work, enrollment is limited and spaces are offered only to musicians who are a strong fit for the program.
This is a focused performance cycle designed to create lasting change in how you prepare, perform, and recover from high-stakes musical situations.
